Chelsea Clinton will be absolutely fine. She''s got an exuberantly enthusiastic Jupiter Mars conjunction in Virgo in her 10th. So she''s hard working, ambitious and a real go getter as well as a fighter for good causes. Interestingly she originally studied Chemistry with an interest in medicine (very Virgo) and is now doing Public Health studies. Plus Venus in upfront Aries in the 6th house of work, service and medicine.
Transitting Pluto picks up her Mars Jupiter by a helpful trine in 2010/11 so I imagine she''d power ahead at work and make money doing it. Her 4th house Pisces Sun is fairly private but she''ll be keen to find herself a secure adult home life for herself along the way.
She''ll be slightly lost through 09 perhaps with tr Neptune square her MC but she''ll be making positive changes in her life with tr Uranus trine her Uranus. She''ll chop and change her friends, her plans and be slightly concerned about money through 09 as well with the Saturn Uranus opposition hard aspecting her 11th house Saturn and her 2nd house Neptune. But basically she''s pretty solidly set.
Bill Clinton is having a really droopy, debilitating bad 09 since tr Neptune opposes his Sun which will be weary, low in motivation and self esteem with some jolting changes from Sat opp Uranus banging off his Uranus - so a tricky, tense time for him, some disappointments with tr Neptune sextile Jupiter; and aggravations, some health risks in 10/11 with Pluto trine Mars/Saturn. 2012 looks bad news for him as well.
Hillary will do better than he will after Neptune gets off the opposition to her Saturn come mid Dec 08, with tr Pluto sextile her Scorpio Sun in 09/10 which will see her getting her act together. She''ll have some bad tempered moments as well and its emotionally intense as well as slightly depressing. But basically she''ll be fine. Through 09 tr Saturn & Uranus also hard aspect her Uranus so she''ll be having a serious think about what comes next, tossing a few old ambitions in the trash can. Tr Uranus trines her Jupiter in 10/11 which is lucky, light hearted, a time of broadening horizons, perhaps more travel. She''s very confident, pushy and ambitious towards 201 but tr Neptune may again undo any great plans she has since it is square her Jupiter from Pisces across the next election which is usually high hopes dashed.

Well she is a triple Scorpio with her Venus and Mercury in Sc square Mars Pluto Saturn conjunction in Leo and opposition a Taurus NNode - so she is kind of vengeful and I suppose can''t really help it. It''s coded into her DNA. Letting go isn''t her style.
Also her composite with Barack is heavy duty with Pluto conjunct Mars and Mars sextile Saturn - so it''s a power struggle to the death and scratchy with it. Plus there''s a Nep opp Moon square Uranus so hardly an emotional resonance. If he does get in she won''t be at all supportive through his term. Indeed hostilities will ratchet up.
If anything Bill Clinton''s composite with Barack is worse and under heavier pressure this year with tr Pluto square Mars till late 08 and sextile Saturn with Nep opp Venus Pluto and Sat squ Jupiter - so an all round low ebb between them right through the election.
As to next time? I''d always thought without looking too closely that 2012 might be too late for her. But she will be rid of those tiresome Neptune transits which have dragged her back in recent years. After this year and Pluto will sextile her Sun 09/10 which should help to get her back on her feet. She has some useful transits in Nov 2012, barring Sat conj Sun, but Jup is trine her Mars and her Solar Return (on 8.01 am birth time to Washington, DC) has a 10th house for the election 2012 Jupiter which is successful, which this year''s is certainly not. Saturn is still in her upper quadrant though only just. Also there''s a transitting Saturn trine Neptune in Pisces which could favour a woman President.
She may also be considering getting rid of Bill. Both their Sun/Moon midpoints are heavily aspected by Saturn from 2011 and thereafter by Uranus and Pluto. He certainly screwed her chances this time and he''s not going to change his stripes either. Asking a Leo and such a strong Leo to take second place is quite an undertaking and possibly not realistic.
The Clinton Sinking Years From: Marjorie. (04 Jun 2008 12:33): Some of the blame for Hillary''s (unthinkable some months back) failure to get the Democratic nomination now appears to be pointing at Bill - for his bad tempered outbursts, continuing rumours of womanising and his questionable rich cronies. Though her ''mis-speaks'' are probably more due to transitting Neptune opposing her Saturn and especially squaring her Mercury during the long campaign. Her bad strategy is possibly also due to no earth planets and, on the 8.01 am birth time which looks likely, no planets in earth houses either. She also hit the wrong time for her essential strengths which are continuity since obviously the electorate were in a mood for change and heady rhetoric and she''s not the showman her husband is.
What is intriguing is the stories that Bill''s ill humour and rackety lifestyle, which are in danger of wrecking his legacy, have escalated since his heart surgery in September 2004. In 2004 Pluto was opposing his Uranus which does suggest a major upheaval. But more pertinently perhaps Neptune was hovering around the opposition to his Pluto undermining his power. In the years since then Neptune hit the opposition to Sun/Pluto with much the same effect and in 2009 meets the debilitating, definitely not ego-boosting Neptune opposition to his Sun. Leos as a sign more than most depend on having an appreciative audience and an authoritative position so anything which undermines that centre stage platform will have a more devastating effect.
Hillary has also had her core determination signified by her formidable fixed planets - a fixed T square of Moon''s North Node in Taurus opposition Mercury (Venus) square Saturn (Mars Pluto) - undermined by Neptune transits since 2004 with Neptune then picking up the opposition to Mars Pluto, reaching the climax this year with Neptune hard aspecting on NNode, Saturn, Mercury. So these years almost to the end of 2009 were never going to be her glory time.
She''ll buck up faster than Bill I imagine since she''s got Pluto sextile her Scorpio Sun from early 2009 onwards for eighteen months which will find her getting a new act together. She doesn''t have a great deal of initiative, lacking cardinal planets, nor does she like change, but she''s a slogger and will just keep moving inexorably ahead, hiding her hurt over the long term. By the Inaguration on the 8.01 am birth time she''s got her Secondary Progressed Moon into the 8th for two years ahead which is usually a time of turmoil, trying to find new values and priorities. Transitting Uranus is on her Moon now which is emotional shocks and upheavals, bringing almost certainly pressure on her marriage. Her composite with Bill is under very challenging transits this year with Pluto square Sun Mercury mid June to late July and again in November; and Uranus square Uranus in 2009 which may see her throwing the crockery in the air and deciding she''s made one compromise too far in her domestic life.
Bill''s Progressions are interesting - on the 8.51 am birth time - he''s got transitting Saturn and his Secondary Progressed Moon into his 12th as well as his Tertiary Progressed Saturn for the next couple of years which is a time of semi-isolation with much introspection which he may not find easy. I would imagine the next couple of weeks will be especially bad tempered since his Tertiary Progressed Moon and Pluto are together with transitting Mars sparking them off. Across the Democrat Convention he''s got his Tertiary Progressed Mars in exact opposition to his Tertiary Progressed Uranus which will be upsetting, prone to outbursts.
There is a sense of change in the air politically starting with Australia''s election of Kevin Rudd, followed by Medvedev in Russia - and the upcoming UK politicians are the 1960s generation. So perhaps the Clintons are just too old hat for the zeitgeist and with McCain practically in formaldehyde it may help Obama. Though Italy went retro with Berlusconi so it will depend how sick the US is of the old guard and the old ways.
CHART: There are a variety of birth times on offer for Hillary – 8pm, 8 am. The evening birth time would give her Uranus on a Gemini Ascendant which doesn’t fit since she’d be light, bright, mischievous, rebellious and quite a maverick plus a batch of 5th house planets which would make her a party girl.
The 8 am looks more likely with a secretive, dark and intense Scorpio ascendant with communicative Mercury on the ascendant. Her very stubborn, heavy duty Saturn Pluto Mars conjunction in Leo is thus in the 9th so she is driven to spread her views around and it also fits her early career as a lawyer. She has an optimistic Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 1st which gives her confidence as a self promoter and a propagandist for her beliefs. It allows her to put on a misleadingly fiery and upbeat façade for public consumption. In truth, with a hidden 12th house Sun and Venus in Scorpio, Pisces Moon in the 4th and Uranus in the 8th, she’s intensely private, highly emotional and much more unsure than she looks. Her Pisces Moon is especially sensitive and home loving in the 4th, needing a domestic life to give her comfort. But with her Moon’s North Node in Taurus in the 7th she’s ambivalent about whether she really wants to relate and co-operate in a close relationship, finding independence easier – perhaps why she chose such a semi-detached relationship with work and travel giving her space. Uranus in the 8th also suggests a less than constant commitment to intimate relationships. The Taurus NNode also hints at continuing turmoil through life due to emotional involvements. It puts her constantly on the defensive, smiling sweetly but giving the impression she’s plotting and planning behind the scenes.
The key configuration in her chart is Mercury on the ascendant opposition the NNode square Saturn (Pluto Mars) – Saturn on the point of a fixed T square makes her driven by ambition, fixated on her aims, persistent to the nth degree, and not a quitter. If she can resolve the overly stubborn, unco-operative side to this, she is good executive material, resourceful in crises and fearless.
What’s getting in her way this year, no matter what her birth time is – is transitting Neptune undermining that T square - opposition Saturn, square Mercury and square NNode. That was around Jan/Feb this year, then again mid September to December 08 right across the election itself. Neptune produces confusion, dents ego ambitions, engenders self deceit. She also has Uranus coming up to conjunct her Moon in Pisces from mid May to early August (on 8 am birth time) or Pluto square Moon ( 8pm BT) in June – either of which bring emotional intensity and Uranus Moon especially brings emotional shocks and upheavals. She does have her Secondary Progressed Jupiter approaching an exact trine to her natal Mars at the election and exact over the inauguration in January which is lucky, confident great for starting new projects. And on 8 am birth time transitting Saturn is starting across her midheaven from mid 2008 which could point to a career peak for the six years thereafter. Though Saturn can bring down as well as boost up – it tends to bring chickens home to roost so you reap what you’ve sowed in the past.
Neptune clears her fixed T square planets by December 08 and the NNode through 2009 after which her life will feel less swampy. 2009/10 also brings Pluto sextile her Sun which will see her getting her act together more sensibly. If by some amazing combination of circumstances she became the US President, she’d find that Afghanistan/Pakistan was her nightmare area (on 8 am birth time).
