I''ve barely heard of Christie Brinkley and having looked her up on Wiki decided she was one of these flim flam celebs, ex-model, still eternally young looking with a riotous love life, 3 children with three different fathers - but she certainly hasn''t a flim flam chart. It''s one of the fascinations of astrology that it gets you behind your preconceptions about people.
She has Sun Venus in Aquarius square Saturn in Scorpio - so rather downbeat, low emotional and other self esteem. Not good at intimacy - Aquarius very spacy and Sat in Sc rather defensive. But the astonishment is a Pluto opposition Mercury in Aquarius square Mars in Scorpio which is a megaton load of compacted anger, determination, ruthlessness - intensely jealous, headstrong, single minded, a bulldozer and vengeful with it. Her Aquarian Sun Venus will just hate that side of her. She browbeats people since she needs to be in control but has no doubt attracted Mars Pluto types so the power struggles and separations will be endless and messy. Her Mars is also trine Uranus which gives her another layer of excitement-seeking and no compromise.
Her Secondary Progressed Mars has now come exact to the trine to Pluto having started with the square so it will be constellating all that ''never say die'' and '' never give in'' energy.
She is involved as an animal rights activist which will soak up some of that driving determination to exert control over the world - but she''s one heavy lady. With no birth time there''s not much of interest to note about where she''s at now. Though transitting Neptune is pulling at Pluto this year by opposition and will conjunct Mercury and square Mars in 2009/2010 which will be rather lost, panicky years for her. But it will soften down some of the obduracy of that fixed T square.

(04 Jul 2008 19:04): It''s difficult to tell nowadays with surgical enhancement but my experience is that certain people from difficult childhoods do stay incredibly young looking even late in life. Her Sun Saturn square became exact by SA direction when she was 4 years old so there would be something which constellated that Sun Saturn rejection, self esteem-dent then. And something in those people gets frozen at that level not just emotionally but also physically.
That Sun Saturn says something about separation from father and her Moon''s North Node in Capricorn hints at a lifelong search for a father replacement. Schulman describes it as '' the perennial infant''.
It''s tricky for Aquarians to fully integrate that Scorpio energy which is so polar opposite to their idea of themselves. Not only has she no earth in her chart, she''s got three (possibly four) planets in Aquarius, and a wide-ish Air Grand trine of Neptune and Jupiter - so more than half of her is very spaced out, up in her head and away from the body. The other Mars in Scorpio and repressed Saturn part of her is just desperate to be down in the primal depths which she projects out in this marriage onto a porn-addicted, teen chaser.
She may appear flawless facially but she''s a monster. She deliberately fought for a public divorce hearing against her children''s attorneys who thought a messy divorce would damage them. Her need for vengeance over rides everything else. And isn''t that an afflicted Mars in Scorpio for you? Her eldest child almost certainly has a Moon square Mars Pluto in Scorpio so the vengefulness has handed itself down the generations.
