Political Astrology David Cameron - May 07 9 October 1966 6am London, England
David Cameron, the UK Opposition Leader's birth time is a bit questionable so I'll treat it with caution. Though on 6am it would give him a Libra Ascendant with a charming Sun Venus in Libra in the 1st which might fit the bonhomie, fair mindedness and sociable ease he projects as an image. Mars in late Leo squares Neptune in Scorpio so he likes grandstanding, can be flamboyant, thrives on the publicity and glamour of a public career. Jupiter in early Leo adds to his self confidence, giving him leadership ability and the need for personal recognition. But Mars Neptune can also be a touch too much showbiz and not enough solid substance. His Sun has no close aspects which will give him a problem sorting out what his core identity really is. Mercury in Scorpio squares Jupiter which ups his optimism but tends to make him exaggerate. Behind all this light, bright, colourful energy is the tricky Uranus Pluto conjunction in Virgo opposition Saturn in Pisces which held sway in the mid 1960s. He does have a depressive streak, considers himself an outsider, finds change inordinately difficult though he's by temperament exceedingly restless. His life will never be plain sailing. Saturn opposition Uranus means he can be inconsistent, dictatorial and doesn't practice what he preaches. It depends partly in which houses it falls how it will manifest. On the 6 am birth time with Saturn in the 6th he's a hard worker, serious about health since he knows he can't push himself too hard. Uranus Pluto in the 12th would be a worry since it tends to bring psychological issues to the fore and there would be a good deal of inner turmoil to contend with when it is sparked off by transits as it will be in 08 and 09. This year he's finding high hopes don't work out, feeling confused, uncertain and slightly directionless in June as Saturn squares Neptune and will be positively blocked, irritable, even accident prone, in August as Saturn conjuncts Mars. With his Secondary Progressed Mars now almost conjunct his Uranus (and Pluto) he'll be much less equable inside than he appears on the outside. That's a bit of a psychological time bomb combination. 2008 will see Uranus oppose his Pluto turning his life upside down and then opposing his Uranus which is mid-life crisis time. Into 2009 Uranus will conjunct Saturn which will be exceptionally tense, challenging and overly strenuous. So it won't be a straight path in the two years ahead. His morale will get a tremendous bvoost in 2011 though with his Tertiary Progressed Jupiter on his Mars. The Conservative Party chart has been upbeat and confident this year with Pluto sextile Jupiter and that will come and go over the next eighteen months. But they've also got the undermining Saturn Neptune opposition squaring the 19 degree Scorpio Sun which won't clear totally until early 08. And Saturn will square the Mars Venus Mercury conjunction in early Sag from Sept 07 to mid 08 which will put a damper on high hopes, bringing internal disagreements. By 2009 Neptune will be square the Tory Party Saturn in Scorpio till late 2010 which is a sagging, sinking influence and won't be inspiring confidence. David Cameron, 9 Oct 1966, London, 6am. Conservative Party, 12 Nov 1867, 12 noon, London
