Prince Harry From: Marjorie. (29 Feb 2008 19:34): Prince Harry is being removed from front-line military duties in Afghanistan as Saturn is conjunct his 8th house Mercury, making it obviously a discouraging few days. Australian and then American media exposure made his position there untenable, not only more dangerous for him personally, but also for the troops he was serving beside. He's already had an edgy and impatient eighteen months with Uranus square his Sagittarian Mars in 2007 when he was prevented from going to Iraq. And Uranus is now heading for the opposition to his Virgo Sun from mid May 2008 which will be unsettling or downright rebellious. It runs until March 2009 on and off and will be a time when he rocks the boat, decides he's tired being hemmed in and strikes out on his own projects. With Saturn in his 8th (mid 2006 to 2010) he is feeling under supported, but is learning to stand on his own two feet and building a strong reserve of inner resilience. He also has Pluto conjunct his Neptune (07 to end 08) which is a generational influence but highly confusing all the same and will tend to exacerbate his slightly addictive-prone 12th house Neptune. Through 2009 and 2010 however Pluto also conjuncts his 12th house Jupiter which will do wonders for his self esteem though could push him into overly confident plans. His charitable impulses already strong with Jupiter close to Neptune are likely to be in the forefront of his mind.
A secretive, intense, sexy Virgo, he will always protect his innermost feelings fiercely and will lead a fairly dramatic life. An 8th house Sun and Mercury will give him a Scorpionic feel. With Uranus and Mars in Sagittarius he will be reckless, sporty, always attracted to adventurous and unconventional friends. He won’t always be sensible since Mars in Sagittarius tends to race ahead without thinking of the consequences and that will be emphasised since Mars squares his Sun. He will be a great crusader for causes which are important to him though not always tactful about getting his points across. Luckily an ultra charming Venus in Libra will help to smooth rough edges. Since his Venus is 9th house he will tend to be romantically attracted to partners from different countries and will most likely marry a foreigner. The love of his life will turn up as his progressed Sun is conjunct his natal Venus in 2009 or 2010 when he is 25 or 26. A Capricorn ascendant likes his grandmother Queen Elizabeth 11 will make him more serious as he matures.
With a Taurus Moon he is tactile, indulgent, quite fixed and possessive in his emotional needs. Since it falls in his fourth house he would always find his father to be the main affectionate support in his life as well as two of his grandparents. Having a secure, contented home and family life will be the most important aim for him in the longer term. Though with his Moon’s North Node in Taurus also in the 4th finding fulfilment in a happy adult home life will be a challenge for him which he may slide away from into work. The North Node in Taurus will bring a colourful life with some turmoil in emotional and family relationships. He will be resistant to advice and create a few of his own problems. Eventually as he reaches out towards Taurus’ love of nature and the earth he will settle down. His Moon in opposition to Saturn so he found his mother though warm in private, a touch cool or defensive, tending to put duty before pleasure. Saturn and Pluto together in Scorpio in the 9th will give him opinions on serious matters, a strong sense of duty, and with a charitable, sympathetic Jupiter Neptune conjunction in the 12th he will be happy to help the needy behind the scenes. He will also be content in his own company with Jupiter in the 12th. Though Neptune there as well can bring some addictive problems.
Family Relationships: His relationship with his brother William is close, warm, enthusiastic and secretive. They share a common serious outlook on life, a determination to build a different, less conventional future together with Jupiter and Uranus in the 11th, and will work hard together. His relationship with his father is also affectionate though there will always be a sense of duty getting in the way of real closeness. They can argue fiercely since Mars square Uranus and Pluto in the composite will give rise to some irritability and fights for control. Their relationship was always destined to undergo major upheavals and difficult experiences. His bond with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, his stepmother, like the other two composites has a close Sun Venus conjunction suggesting real affection and friendliness. Though again this relationship is destined to undergo upheavals and transformations. It will be under some strain through 2006 and 2007.
Present Influences: He has Saturn transitting through the upper hemisphere for the next twelve years which will be a time of increasingly hard work and heavier responsibilities. He will take on more in the way of public duties after 2013 for six years. The last two years have been stressful at times and a challenge with Pluto squaring his Sun up to early November 2005. 2007 will see Uranus square Mars which could cause upsets in friendships, be accident prone or risky in some way and shake his sense of himself. Pluto will also be conjunct his 12th house Neptune in 2007, which is a generational influence but disorienting all the same and could bring out his addictive tendencies. He will step out with renewed confidence in 2008 as Jupiter crosses his ascendant, heralding a new twelve year cycle of growth and expansion.
